A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Mortgage Advisor, with a demonstrated track record of success in the industry and proven experience in advising clients on mortgage options and managing the entire application process.
In-depth knowledge of various mortgage products, interest rates, lending criteria, and the mortgage application process in the UK.
A comprehensive understanding of the UK's regulatory framework, including Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) rules and regulations governing mortgage lending and brokering
Commitment to adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain complex mortgage terms and processes to clients.
Proficiency in financial analysis to assess clients' financial situations and creditworthiness.
Ability to develop marketing strategies and generate leads to grow the mortgage advisory business.
Familiarity with mortgage software, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and other relevant tools.
Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a client-focused approach.
Staying informed about changes in UK mortgage regulations and market trends.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and education to stay updated on industry best practices and changes in the UK mortgage market.
Ability to build and maintain a network of real estate professionals, lenders, and other industry contacts.
Hold CeMAP or similar industry-recognised qualification
Have a minimum of 24 months mortgage advising experience within a brokerage
Have a consistent track record of achieving your goals within your current role
Be proactive and self-motivated
A passion for achieving a fantastic customer experience.
Proven use of mortgage-specific software
Full driving licence
You are legally entitled to live and work in the UK in accordance to the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. (Please Note: you will need to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK via proof of address, identity and NI prior to a formal offer of employment).
A high school diploma or equivalent (required) and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred but not required).
